This is for ~DARGON1's contest [link]. We had to portray an emotion. I chose loneliness/despair. Azura's blue color was perfect for that emotion. The rock face really gave me a hard time (I used various brushes from [here]), and I'm still trying to figure out shading techniques.

For those of you wondering, I'm feeling just fine, lol. It was really interesting working with this pic. I went through so many drafts on the coloring, trying to get the right balance. I did the best I could.

EDIT: I won Dargon's contest. I'm very honored to have won a contest with so many wonderful contestants. :bow:
